Slide the tank out from one of the sides. Slide the tank slow and as evenly down as possibly should be fairly easy. Un-bolt the straps while slowly lowering the tank. ![]() Now ensure that nothing is attached to the tank, if so proceed. Be sure to go around the tank on the passenger side of the car and disconnect the wring harness attached to it. Now disconnect the secondary EVAP line along its side. Disconnect the EVAP line (black) and Gas line (Metallic).įollow the filler line to the gas tank there will be an Adjustable Hose Clamp holding it in place Loosen it to disconnect pull the Filler hose free. Now take off the gas cap, this will help equalize the presser in the tank. Note you will have to drop the tank towards the front of the car. This will expose the 2 straps that are holding the tank and the skid plate below the tank. Unhook the rubber gromits' holding the exhaust in place all the way back to the muffler.ĭrop the exhaust pull it out the from under the car Next disconnect the Exhaust from the Manifold between the catalytic converter,and the flex pipe, 2 bolts.
